Carmina Wood Design partnered with Belmont Housing on restoring True Bethel Commons, known historically as the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Complex. The restoration included the original school (ca.1900), a mid-century school addition (ca.1960), the convent (1907) and the rectory (1910). Creating new affordable housing, community spaces and tenant amenities this restoration and adaptive reuse project reintroduces the complex and marks a positive shift in the community.
