THE INGELSIDE APARTMENTS

Buffalo, NY | Architecture, Civil Engineering, Historic Preservation | Complete 2023

Carmina Wood Design partnered with Sinatra and Co on restoring the historic Ingleside home at 70 Harvard Place in the City of Buffalo. Constructed in 1923 as “a placement home for wayward women” we were able to convert the vacant office building into new apartment units while adhering to the specifications set forth by the National Park Service. The team was able to restore the historic fabric by maintaining the original ‘cathedral space’ and restoring the original windows, shutters and repointing of original brick on the exterior.

Notable Features: 24 apartment units | Historic Fireplaces | Off Street Parking
